You’re not here, and neither am I, but may very well be where you are, in Christ. Everything & anything I want to say seems unnecessary. Words tend to go to prayer now & I want this new life to settle in and Make Permanent before I even think about returning.. I owe too much to God, you know? Please, please pray for me, my friend. I pray intently for you, your friends & family & mission. God be with you, Mary protect you & never cease holding you & guiding you. I will meet you in Christ.
If I am in Christ, it is certainly through the aid of prayers such as yours. I'm with you on that desire for permanence before making my way back. How could I risk it when my heart is still so fickle? I don't know yet. Maybe I won't make it back -- at least not fully. That's probably for the best. Whatever either of us decide to do, let it be with Christ.
You have my prayers as well, just as intently, and I thank you for yours as always. Especially as we missionaries enter trip season and begin to lead others into the work we've been doing in the off season. Many miles and moments to come on pilgrimage this year.
